North Carolina Now to feature Russian as part of critical languages project

On Thursday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m. UNC-TV will continue its series about critical languages in North Carolina with a feature about Russian. The feature will tell the story about Russian language programs at Enloe High School in Raleigh and the International House in Charlotte.

The previous story in the series featured Arabic language programs in North Carolina schools, including the work LEARN NC has completed with the Department of Public Instruction to produce a digital textbook for Arabic language instruction.

The Russian language feature will be part of the nightly news magazine show North Carolina Now on UNC-TV, statewide public television.
