Listen with LEARN NC is our new podcast series on iTunes U that helps educators learn what’s new on LEARN NC and how they can use the resources on our website.
Laina Stapleton, a LEARN NC research assistant, has published three new episodes of Listen with LEARN NC. The first episode introduces LEARN NC, providing some background on the website and sharing what’s new.
The second episode in the series, “Digital Textbooks,” highlights LEARN NC’s online textbooks. The podcast describes our critical languages series, including our Mandarin Chinese and Arabic textbooks, and explains how to use the North Carolina Digital History Textbook and the related educator’s guides.
The third episode focuses on the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center, a program of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s libraries. The podcast explains that through a partnership with LEARN NC, the Center is able to bring some of their great resources to you including images, maps, and much more.
Listen with LEARN NC podcasts are posted weekly on iTunes U. We hope you’ll tune in often!
