The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Education is now recruiting for a LEARN NC instructional designer.
The position description is as follows:
The person in this position will conduct needs analysis, content design, content development, successful implementation, and post-application evaluation of instructional materials. This position works with subject matter experts, technical partners, and clients to produce instructional contents publishable via our website, simulations, mobile platforms, and game servers. Responsibilities will include working with client, create media, lead a design and development team (e.g., students, contractors), and handling requests from clients, partners, and developers.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in education, special education, instructional design, educational technology, educational media, or related discipline with coursework in curriculum development or learning theory; or a Bachelor’s degree in the assigned discipline and two years of experience in teaching, educational testing, or instructional design and curriculum development; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Master’s degree in Educational Technology or related field, at least three (3) years of experience in higher education IT, and at least one (1) year of teaching experience is preferred.
