Friday by the Numbers? – Sure, Why Not…
January 18, 2008
I’ll be in fabulous Old New Amsterdam on Monday, so I figure I’d give you this early edition for you number hungry fans out there. Please enjoy:
110+ Resources for the Creative Mind – As a self dubbed creative person, I was rather pleased to find this resource for myself, but I’m glad to share it here, too. There are plenty of analog and digital ways to boost your creativity here, and ways to get inspired to get cracking on that novel or blog project you’ve been wanting to do. Thanks Skelliewag.org.
12 Classics to Read in 2008 – JenWriter is the prototype for the modern blogger. Luckily, she’s using her powers for good and instigating the rest of us to do better and more thorough work. Here, she presents a dozen classic novels she hopes to read in 2008. Maybe you should too. (I’ve read 5 of them
)
75 Ways to Save Money – This is one of the things I really am going to do a better job of this year. I think that not ever having owned a piggy bank hurt me in my youth – maybe it’s not too late to correct that. One money-saving tip is “Cut your own hair.” Hmmm… I’m glad there are 74 other ways listed here by ThriftyMommy.
Top 10 Ways to Sleep Smarter and Better – Yeeeawn… If only I had found this last night. I don’t know if this is a trend for most people or not, but the last thing I look at before I go to sleep and the first thing I see when I wake up is usually a computer screen. According to Lifehacker, this might be part of the reason for my poor sleep habits. Find out what you’re doing wrong or right about sleep, and you might be more bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for it. My favorite: teach yourself to lucid dream.
50 Simple Ways to Stay Productive – This is rather self explanatory. I won’t waste any more time telling you more. Via Lifehack.
